Attack of Life!

Hello Thrillseekers!!

It's been a long while since I've written a blog post. We've been a bit, overwhelmed here at Thrill. The two of us have been busy. Very busy. What with life throwing hurdles as it often does.

What we have been doing though, is organizing some cool things to start happening!
•New Issue #3 should be out before Supanova Melbourne!
•We're making allies and pairing with people for a lot of cool things to come! (One which includes role-play)
•We're finding new ways to present the magazine to you all, to make it more cost effective to everyone.
•Wondering about
•And of course, finding lots of people to contribute!

So I do apologize for the lack of activity, but hopefully we'll be more up and running soon!

Thank you everyone for your ongoing support!

Love,

The Thrillers!

Hey Thrillseekers!

Exciting news - the first brick and mortar store to stock Thrill is here!

Geek Culture in Chadstone Shopping Center now carries copies of Thrill!
(Shop B006 in the Chadstone directory)

So give them a like or pop in to say hi to show that we support any business that gets behind Thrill; or cosplay in general!

Don't forget to compliment the staff!

Melbourne Art Fair and more!

Hi Thrillseekers!!

How are you all? You won't believe what's happening in the thrilling land of Thrill at the moment!
Thrill went to the Melbourne Art Fair over the last week (13th - 17th August). We had a stall with Exposition, part of MAF Edge. And it was amazing. We, at Exposition, were there to show that while we're all different stalls and from different areas, we all come together to create art. It was an amazing experience! We met so many new people, and taught a lot of people what cosplay actually is. It was wonderful!

We were featured first on Melbourne Art Critic, Black Mark's, blog here! Not quite Madame Red, but it'll do.

So what next? At the moment half of us will be at ChaOz over this weekend, 23rd-24th August, at our very own stall! We lots of copies of issue 2 to sell! So come buy one or just say hi!

We're hoping to start some new ventures when I move back to Melbourne soon. So hopefully I'll have more to write about!

But at the moment, just know, that there is nothing but good in store. And if you have ideas for any articles, or want to submit something, let us know.

Stay happy and keep creative,

The Thriller,

Life goes on and on and on!

Hello Thrillseekers!

It's been a while since I've written here, my life has been super busy! I've moved to Sydney for a photography internship so at the moment Thrill has been put on hold as neither Edward or I have had time to come together and work on it (over Skype that is).

But we're hoping to have some stalls at future cons for Thrill!

If you have any suggestions for where Australia's first cosplay magazine could be put on display, or if you know someone who likes to cosplay and would want to write an article or showcase their work, let us know with an email to thrillof@gmail.com

Hope to have some more news on the next issue soon!

Australia’s First Cosplay Magazine ‘Thrill’ Hits Supanova!

HEYA THRILLSEEKERS!

As you guys will know if you follow our Facebook page we went to Supanova Melbourne last weekend and had an awesome time! We sold all 25 of the copies we took along with us, so it was a great time for the Thrill team and for all the attendees. We even signed a bunch of copies!

So What Does This Mean For Australia’s First Cosplay Magazine?

Well, we did a roaring trade at Supanova this year, but things are far from over for Australia’s first cosplay magazine. Thrill are already looking for articles, pictures and column ideas for our next issue, which will be released mid to late July with lots of great new information and tips for you. As Australia’s first cosplay magazine, we here at Thrill feel we have a duty to keep you up to date with all the best cosplay news from around the world, but especially what’s going on here in Oz.

For those of you who haven’t yet picked up your copy of http://au.blurb.com/b/5180283-thrill-edition-1, what are you waiting for? If it’s for a great deal, you’re in luck, as here at Thrill we’re offering you 15% off until the end of April! Just go here to Blurb and use the code ‘APRIL15%’ to get a great deal on our first ever copy. It’s sure to be a collector’s item sometime in the future (that’s what we’re hoping at least)!

Finally, we’d like to thank everyone who has so far made Thrill what it is. It’s not easy being Australia’s first cosplay magazine, but you guys have made it feel like great fun. Thank you to everyone who put in their time writing for the magazine, or who sent in pictures for our selfie collection on the Facebook page, and we promise you, we’ll have many more fun things to come!

For more info on the latest issue of Thrill, and how you can submit written work or pictures for the next edition, visit http://thrillof.tumblr.com/

And don’t forget to check out our Facebook page too at https://www.facebook.com/thrillthecosplaymag.

If you’ve picked up an issue of Thrill, why not send us a pic of you in cosplay with it? We’d love to see what you can come up with!

Keep seeking,

The Thrillers.
